I am having problems connecting the soundstation direct connect with the meridian telephone, it says it's readt but the phone just keeps on blinking and cannot be used. Please advise....

Thanks for your reply, I new to installing this soundstation2 direct connect, I believe I followed the instruction in this link: http://supportdocs.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/global/documents/support/user/products/voice/s... however, I cannot make this thing work, the soundstation2 direct connect says "READY" but the phone does not work. This means I wont be able to dial using the soundstation2 direct connect keypad, as there are series of keys needed to make an outside call, is this possible? Dialing from the phone instead of the soundstation2 direct connect? Please advise. Thanks in advance!
can you press the Speaker Button to get a Dial Tone or does the Phone ring when dialing it?
As previosely suggested you would need to contact AVAYA / Nortel for support or if the unit is defective speak to your Polycom reseller.
No dial tone when pressing the speaker button and phone does not ring...
