SoundStation 2 Won't Dial Out

Hello, My office recently switched our digital phone system for an analog one. As part of this I got a used SoundStation 2 to use in our conferance room. The problem I'm having is that while the phone can receive calls it can't make them. If I try to dial out I just get a busy signal. It's an analog system connected through a wall module. I tested the line with a different analog phone and it works fine. Any suggestions on things to test?

welcome to the Polycom Community.
Not knowing the history of the SoundStation 2 or what type of analog line you are using I can only assume:


  • SoundStation is defective

  • The line does not accept DTMF dialing
