I have looked at the support page on the polycom website and cannot download the software updater for the SoundStation 2W. We are having issues with a few of these dropping calls and I want to start with updating the firmware....

Hello James,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
I have just been on the official support page => here <= and downloaded both XP and Vista/7 without issues.
Both files are .Exe so maybe your Antivirus or something else prevents you from downloading these.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

Thanks for the reply, I have been to that page and I simply cannot click on the updater files... I tried on the current one and the older one. I have tried on two different browsers. Is there any way I can get this as a zip file? I am really hoping to test this as we have alot of polycom soundstations throughout our org and we have problems with alot of them...

Thank you so much! Also the phone in question has these stats:
CVM: 1.85
DSP: S2S.CON.01.505
CPLD: 1.06
Is it worth it to upgrade? Also the employee told me that just before the calls dropped they heard a series of tones...

Hello James,
this is already the latest Software and I can only recommend to work with your Polycom Reseller to contact Polycom Support regarding this issue.
It would be interesting to check if the Phone actually drops the line or if the base station looses connectivity with the unit.
As mentioned above, please work with the reseller.
Best Regards
