I have tried to flash the firmware 4 times and it will fail on step 6.

 

It lost conectivity with the base unit and will not re-register.

 

Is it now toast?

I too have tried to update the Firmware on a SS2W with no success, again this is failing on step 6 with the SS2W saying

 

Rebooting

Please Wait...

 

and going no further.

 

The reason I wanted to upgrade was I had lost connecting with Base Station and could not register with it again.

 

Original DSP: 82W.CON.01.373

Now: 82W.CON.01.605

CPLD: 1.06

CVM: Alternating between 6.ff and Unavailable

Hi i've tried to upgrade due to our Soundstation 2W unable to register to base.  The upgrade says it did not work.  We cannot contact our supplier as they are no longer in operation.  Please advise to our options.  Thank you.

I got a soundstation2W which not registering to base station. Tried to upgrade it but always says failed to upgrade atfer 6/6. Is there any firmware/software we can try? It seems that the solutions posted is not working. Any help except calling polycom?
