Using a 2201-03308-103-H

 

Works fine. But doesn't ring, regardsless of the ringer volume setting switch on the bottom of the device.

You have to take a call blind, when somone is trying to call the soundstation.

 

Im using the Soundstation (no warranty left) on a Siemens HighPath 3000 telephone system (analog Port).

I would move the SS to a known good CO line port and test.

Sometimes, analog station ports can send low ring voltage or a pattern not recognized by the SS.  For instance and internal call may send a double short ring which may not be long enough to trip the SS to ring.

Try the phone on a outside line and see what happens.

Did this unit ever work or does it just not work on the HiPath?

 

Did you try as suggested an external call to that extension rather than an internal or the other way round?

You can also test the Analog line with a Known-working analog phone (home phone) or butt set to see if it is good.
