Hello,

We recently purchased a new soundstation 2W. I am able to dial out using the keypad and connect to another phone.

But when i call the number assigned to the polycom, it rings, but doesn't connect to the model i am trying to call.

Should i have set up the polycom with a different number - i used the one from the old polycom that this new one replaced (old one is no longer connected to anything).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Jasmine

Hello JasmineH,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The call with always provide a ring tone to the other end as it is only an analog call.

A quick test would be to call the unit and then go off hook on the unit. If you are connected it may be the ringing voltage not producing the required power or I have heard of cases before where the ringing pattern was not what the unit expected.

In any case you should probably contact your Polycom reseller and work with them as there are some additional country settings that are only available via support.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
