Hiya,

I recently bought a VoiceStation 300 from ebay as a speakerphone for my elderly mum.

Apart from her dislike of it looking like a snake she's getting on with it well and finds it easy to use and hear, and has cured the problem of her not being able to use a standard handset - wandering earpiece problem solved!

The problem lies on the other side of the connection - her output to other people is quiet, almost too quiet. We've tried wall mounting and putting it on various surfaces but we just can't get  her any louder - and it's not our phone, anyone who rings her says it's quiet. I've been there and tested the unit and there doesn't seem to be a unit problem, the mics work, and work up to a decent distance without falloff of volume, but the output is still quiet no matter the range it's being spoken to at.

What I'd like to know is if there is a way of boosting the output, either from the mics or the overall output of the machine to the phone line?

Cheers, Hobbit
