Hello all,

We're using some Poly Studio provisioned by RPRM:

  • Poly Studio 1.3.2.000744
  • RPRM 10.8.0-251114

A few days ago, a user told me, that he was in a video session and has deactivated speaker tracking on Poly Studio and has manually focused the camera on the speaker. In the video session, the Poly Studio has switched back to speaker tracking suddenly without any user interaction.

When checking this problem, I've seen, that RPRM has provisioned that Poly Studio while video session was active.

Reason: Provisioning interval has passed (prov.polling.period="3600"), so Poly Studio has loaded actual provisioning parameters like video.camera.trackingMode="Frame Speaker" from RPRM even when video session is active.

Is there a way to prevent the Poly Studio from being provisioned while video session is active?

I think, the only way to do so is to define an absolute start time and end time for provisioning the Poly Studio (like prov.polling.time="04:00" and prov.polling.timeRandomEnd="05:30" for Poly Trio in the early morning). Provisioning intervals sometimes will make Poly Studio be provisioned while in Video Sessions.

Best Regards,
LeoK

Hello @LeoK ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

I would suggest you test this using a currently supported software for the Poly Studio 1.4.0 and if you can still replicate this raise a support ticket.
