No Shared Screen shown using RealConnect

Hi All,

we are using Realconnect with G500 series. Only problem we having is when we try to do screen sharing. Meeting room TV screen goes black when presenter, presents the content.


other meeting participant and can see the content on their laptops. It is only not coming up on meeting room TV screens.


has any one come across the same issue?

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Just like in your other post >here< you have not provided sufficient information for the volunteers within this community.


  • Is this a day 1 issue?
  • What software version are you running on the GroupSeries?
  • Did you follow the advice of Poly regarding open ports?
  • Have you yet contacted Poly support?

A colleague of mine spend considerate time outlining what to check >here<

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

Hi Steffen,


1. Issue just started happening from last 1 week (we are using realconnect service for past 2 months).

2. Issue is only happening with G500 series (with Poly Trio we having no issue, also G500 are on same VLAN as Poly Trio, so we think that network is not at play)

3. current version G500 is on 6.2.2 - 580140

4. we have advised our AV partner to raise the ticket with Poly.


when presenter presents then TV screen goes black, we can also see the ID at bottom that something is being shared but it wont come up on screen.
