Hi,

 

we configured a RealConnect licence based on this tutorial:

https://dialin.plcm.vc/teams/ps.html

 

The meetings show´s up correctly in TC8, but if we want to join a message appears:

"Your call could not be completet. Please check the number and try the call again"

 

We only want to usw poly to meet with MS teams, so we did not configured SIP settings.

All other participant can join the meetings without problems.

 

What can we do to fix this?

  • Type of yet unknown Poly device being used
  • Software version of yet unknown Poly device being used

I've been doing RealConnect for about a year or a little more.  The configuration article you linked to is only part of the process.  I'll admit, it's hard to find one article that takes you through the entire process soup to nuts.  And - IMHO - this is hard.

 

Some questions I would ask as part of this process:

 

Do you have the RealConnect Licenses?

Have you activated them

Have you granted the necessary permissions across the tenant here?  https://webapp.plcm.vc/

Is the calendar working for the device and the room setup?  Do you get a Join button?

 

And so on.

Like I said, it's hard.  But once you've set it up - you'll probably be able to forget about it after that.

Hi,

 

yes i have a valid licence and it is activated also.

Also ther permissions was set, i´d set up all these points already.

 

The calender also work fine on TC8, so i see the upcoming meetings and also see the JOIN Button. If i click it, i get the error message related the wrong phone number.

 

I deactivated SIP and h.232 is in default. I´m not sure at all: what must be configured there. Is it required or optional? At all we only need Teams on real connect.

Like I said - this stuff is hard.  It could be something simple in a config somewhere.  You might have to put in a ticket with Poly to get some help.

Hello!

Sounds like your endpoint might not have a route to the Internet and hence it is unable to reach the Teams SIP/H.323 gateway. You can try dialing a SIP or H.323 call to my Polycom bridging service and see if you get a connection. If you can connect to my bridge, then you have a route outside your network. If that also fails you'll need to investigate your network path out of your network. Secondly I can provide you with a RealConnect dial in on a meeting from my O365 RealConnect tenant, if that works then something with your O365 setup may be incorrect.
