I am not recieiving audio or video from our internal HDX9000 unit to our m100 software and m500 app. On the m100 software I get a firewall/network error saying that the farsite video/audio is being blocked. Im also receiving 100% packet loss on the m500 app on the Ipad2. 

 

I AM however getting video/audio TO the HDX9000 system FROM the Ipad2 and Laptop with m100 software.

 

If anyone has any idea what ports need to be opened and what has to be done so I can make our IT guy's life a tad bit easier that would be very much appreciated. 

 

Is it a simple setting on the Polycom itself or a network/firewall problem?

1720 is your call setup negotiation port. so you'll need to make sure that is not blocked.

1719 needs to be open if your registering to a gatekeeper.

 

I don't think Realpresence mobile has fixed ports at the moment, so your going to want to have your Dynamic port range open to traffic.  You might concider just doing a DMZ if your still having problems from your router to the device.

 

If your Provisioned to CMA, It should handle the port you should use 3230 - 3235 fixed ports on the CMA.

 

To be honest though, Realpresence mobile that is not connected to the CMA is only supported when connected to the same Lan Segment.

I have similar issue with SMGT 10.1, 100% video and audio lost on Rx (tablet). I have put the device in DMZ and the same result. A few times when I switch from front camera to back camera, the video came kicked back on but heavily distorted and stuck, seems no packet loss correction at all. Any suggestions?
