Hi,

Have you tested with other vendors. eg: Cisco /Tandberg Equipment.

I'm able to register and makes calls from our VCS control and VCS Expressway (to a certain extent).

Issues that I have:

-I cant register the client using SIP on our VCS expressway (which is on our DMZ) -only h323 is able to register.

-I cant recieve video and audio from endpoint dialling via ISDN --We have an ISDN Gateway (Tandberg MPS 800).

NOTE: Im able to register SIP to expressway using HDX , and I'm able to recieve audio and video calls through our ISDN Gateway connecting to a hdx or VSX endpoint.

Are  there incompatibility issues with Realpresence and Cisco products?

-

The RPM does not support NAT so a gatekeeper is required unless the two endpoints are on the same LAN.

Another issue may be that the RPM only supports H264. If H264 is not supported at some point usually the call will connect but as audio only.

There is also a known issue that:

The RealPresence Mobile application

cannot register to a Cisco

TelePresence™ Video

Communication Server (Cisco VCS),

when the latter works as a SIP server.

Please see the RPM software release notes at this link:
