We've recently upgraded our vvx600 phones to firmware 5.4 and need to upgrade our BToE software from 3.0 to 3.3

I can manually uninstall the 3.2 software, reboot and then successfully install 3.3.   Looking to automate the process for an enterprise wide deployment, but running into difficulties trying to get around the necessary reboot.  Anyone come up with a process that can stop/remove the service, remove software and then allow for the 3.3 install?  I'm using Landesk and want to package he deployment.

Thanks in advance for any help or direction.

Hello Gerry Katz,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The BToE Installer is a standard windows based MSI installer. So we can install it from command-line (with no GUI) also using windows commands.

Our BToE installer will not require any reboot until unless if you specify in command-line while executing.
