Call from computer but switch to VVX 601 phone


-Windows 10 64bit

-Skype for Business 2016 (16.0.9126.2259 32bit)

-Polycom VVX601

-UC Software

-Connection type: Network cable from wall to phone; Network cable from wall to computer


On Skype, if you dial from the PC, is there a way to use the phone to talk while you are signed in to the phone with your Skype account? The C series used to be able to do this (dial from the PC but use the physical phone) but if I am not mistaken, they are being phased out and the VVX series is being pushed. Does the VVX series not have that option?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Please install the Polycom BToE Software. For your old phone firmware you will need the 3.7.0 Version as only the latest UC Software 5.8.0 is compatible with BToE 3.8.0

What if we are using Microsoft Online Multifactor Authentication and are unable to use BToE?

Hi @JFesta16,


as far as I know, you´ll have to use Microsoft Web Sign-In on VVX.
