Hi, i have a problem with my VVX 300 phone, when I have it working in generic sip mode the web access to the phone works, but when I change the mode to skype and then try to connect to the phone via the web I can not enter, the way in which if I enter the web in skype mode is when I assign a static ip to the phone, that way if it works. What do you think it might be that you do not log in to the phone in Skype mode and working with DHCP? i am working with the new release.

Another detail, I activate the web server configuration in the phone, but when restarting the phone does not take that configuration, it appears disabled, when I had already activated it.

Thanks for your help.

Hello @Sandersmn03,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

If you require to activate the Skype for Business mode aka the LYNC Base Profile your phone is not a Skype SKU and therefore in addition requires a Polycom per device license as explained here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Unable to use Productivity Suite Feature like Call Recording,H323 or LDAP / Corporate Directory or LYNC license

Resolution: Please check => here <=

In addition please be aware of these FAQ posts

Jul 06, 2016 Question:Since Upgrading to UC Software 5.5.0 in Generic Base Profile I can no longer use HTTP?

Resolution: HTTPS only is supported since UC Software 5.5.0 only. Please check => here <= for more details
