It is my first time deploying a Trio 8800 (5.4.5.9188, audio only, registered to Skype 2015 on prem) as a personal device in an executive office.  The intent is to have this individual log in their Skype for Business account.  All of our previous deployments have been room resources with passwords that don't expire.  Our policy dictates that user passwords must be changed every three months.  I have a feeling that when the password is changed the user will not remember the need to update the password on the Trio and I'll get a angry call about a "broken" Trio.

I am curious how other admins have handled these situations especially where the user may not be the most tech savvy.  Any tips for changes that could be made to the individual or shared config to make things easy on the user?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Scott,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

A colleague of mine suggested to setup a separate room account and if necessary create the account as a delegate for invites.
