My CX 3000 conference phone makes a clicking sound when people are speaking, both into the phone and when the the person on the other line is speaking.  This is a recent development.

 

This happens with either Skype for Business or GoToMeeting, so I don't believe it's a software problem.

 

Please help!

is this a brand new device or an older device ?

 

Has this item maybe be dropped and can you hear anything inside rattle when you shake it ?

It's a brand new phone purchased in April from an Amazon reseller.  It hasn't moved from the center of our conference table since it arrived and it makes no rattling sounds when I just tried to shake it.

 

This "clicking" noise is inaudible to the person on the other line, but for users on our end, we hear it when we speak into the phone.  Heard of anything like this?
