Hide own phone number when calling Real-presence trio 8800

Good Morning,

Is there a way to hide my phone number when making calls on the real-presence trio 8800?

Thanks,

P

Re: Hide own phone number when calling Real-presence trio 8800

Hello @PN,

welcome back to the Polycom community.

Some or a couple of your old post(s) => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provided some form of feedback or answer.

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilise the community more efficiently.

In addition it is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC / Skype for Business server.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Is this for outgoing calls or incoming calls ?

The feature would usually depend on the yet unknown call server.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Re: Hide own phone number when calling Real-presence trio 8800

Hello PN,

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these 3PIP qualified phones for Microsoft® Lync® or Skype® for Business devices after a reference design and support for features of the call server is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

Most likely this is a Feature access code aka FAC

Please try here
