Hot-Desking support on Polycom TRIO 8800

Hi Guys, is the Hot-Desking feature is supported on TRIO 8800 when configured with Microsot Lync 2013 or SFB 2015.

we usually do not list in Admin Guide what we do not support.

 

Example:

 

  • VVX Polycom UC Software with Skype for Business Deployment Guide 5.9.0 (HTML) Hot Desking is described for example => here <=

  • Trio Polycom Trio Solution with Skype for Business User Guide 5.8.0AA (HTML) does not have this section.

If you have any additional questions please contact your Polycom Reseller as they can open a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Polycom devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

If the unit is no longer within warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

To my own personal knowledge (and the UC Software 5.8.0 Trio Skype Admin Guide) Hot Desking is at present not a feature supported on the Poly Trio.

Hi Steffen Thanks much for your reply. I checked through the admin guide and did not see anywhere mention on hot-desking unsupportability.Will you help pointing out. I need some where docuemnted to be sure and cascade.
