Hello,

On my VVX 411 running 5.7.0 and an expansion module, I would like to be able to assign a label to a non-skype contact rather than just seeing the phone number.

In my .csv file I have assigned to the phone and my SIPURI:

Line_Index of 20

Line_URI of 555.555.5555

Line_Style of e_Lync

Key 20 just shows the number.

I thought there were some enhancements to be able to do this, however, I've been unable to find a suitable explanation on how to do this.

There was a post from Steffan that showed a PIN icon next to a name when using:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<PHONE_CONFIG>
<ALL
efk.efklist.1.action.string="ReplaceWithNumber"
efk.efklist.1.mname="ReplaceWithName"
efk.efklist.1.status="1"
feature.enhancedFeatureKeys.enabled="1"
feature.EFKLineKey.enabled="1"
/>
</PHONE_CONFIG>

Will this help me out?

Hello @SR_MCSE,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

No the flexible Line Key only allows you to place Skype for Business Contacts but unfortunately no Numbers with names.

This would require a Feature Request via the well known channels.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
