Hi,

I have configured Polycom VVX 400 and TRIO 8800 as Lync regestired phone.

I am able to login to the phone using Lync user ID.

And as per the default configuration, the VVX 400 shows Line URI number in Home screen.

But the Trio shows the User Name. But as per our requirment the Trio also should be show the Line URI number in the Home Screen.

Would you please confirm which parameter value has to be changed to show the Line URI in Trio phone.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Adarsh P S,

I have moved your post to this section as LYNC / Skype related issues are discussed here.

The Skype for Business and VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jul 11, 2014 Question: How can I display my phone Extension rather than the Username using LYNC?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above is applicable to the Trio as well.

In addition since UC Software 5.4.3 the Trio does display the Tel URI as a standard on the top Menu.

Not knowing your currently installed version it is difficult to comment.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Yes Steffen,

That parameter now showing the extension on the phone.

But they are not happy and need to show them complete DID,

My bad, I would have put the question directly DID instead of Line URI to you.

Is there anyway I can show the DID in home screen?

Have a look at my above comment and / or the post => here <=

As you still have not provided the details of what Software Version you are using I must assume you are not using 5.4.3

Well yes, I am not using UC 5.4.3 for this POC.

But this   <nameURI reg.1.useTelUriAsLineLabel="1" />

parameter will only enable the extension number instead of display name.

Is the DID number will display automatically if I use UC 5.4.3

Or do I need to add any parameter like this?

Hello Adarsh P S,

Could you kindly let me know who in Polycom runs this POC with you so I can work with them directly ?

The above parameter will only show the Extension / DDI and not the full number.

UC Software 5.4.3 has the ability to show the whole number as illustrated in the above linked post to the 5.4.3 Software Release post.

If you have a contact in Polycom they can contact myself so you can test the UC Software 5.4.3 but again you should really be using production hardware and not a Beta Unit as this restricts you in testing GA software and the unit is actually Polycom property and should have been returned already.
