Hi all,

i have a problem setting up dhe CX5100 with windows10.

The device is recognized, but i can´t use the videoconnection. Only the audio is working.

In additon, the cx5100 can´t be reached over the control panel software.

A firmware update with a usb stick was performed and the usb drivers were installed.

Are ther any workarounds to get the CX5100 working?

Regards

Adrian

Hello

Stating that you upgraded the unit does not help others when finding this post in days, weeks, months or years to come as they do not know what software mentioned was current at the time of writing.

Please therefore always post the exact complete build id.

In addition what software are you using to utilize the unit ? Is this Skype for Business or anything else.

Also is this a brand new unit or a used device and did this work before you started to use this with Windows 10?

Are you using all the original cabling ?

Hi Steffen,

i´m sorry. The upgraded software was version 1.3.2.

The system runs properly on a windows7 system with Lync on it.

With S4B running on a Windows10 machine the cx doesn´t work.

And yes, i´m using the orignal cabling.

It´s not a new device. I´ve bought it a few years ago as a new device.

Hello @Adrian_DE,

So if the very same unit is being detected by Windows 7 using the same cabling and a Windows 10 PC does not then something must be set on the Windows 10 PC which prevents this.

Any kind of Anti Virus or Firewall running ?

Have you tried a different Windows 10 PC aka a different make?

If the unit is out of warranty then only a PPI ticket can be opened via your reseller.
