Hi,

We have the Polycom® RealPresence Trio ™ 8800, and want to call customers with SFB (Skype for Business) and customers with normal Skype. The first works perfectly, we can call SFB customers and vice versa. But as soon as we try to call customers with normal Skype, this does not work, he immediately disconnects.

We have just upgraded the latest firmware to test if it works through Microsoft Teams. Only here we have exactly the same, and we have much less menu plus without video. So we kept the last firmware, but returned it to Skype with the same situation.

The aim is to be able to call normal Skype customers as well, is this possible?

SFB works.

Hi @Svallas,

that´s not possible. Poly Trio "only" support SfB. You can´t connect to consumer Skype.

Calling between Teams and the consumer version of Skype is a feature that is on Microsoft's roadmap and is scheduled to be released in March 2020: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=53935
