I have some problems with SfB and Microsoft teams. I hope that you can help us. We have 4 of this sets on 4 locations. and we have problems to include people to our meetings.
This is what we have:

- Phone Version: 5.7.2.3205

- Phone Model: RealPresence Trio 8800 / Visual+

- Call platform: Skype for Business Online

- MAC address is 64:16:7F:4F:BF:91

How to sign in Polycom Trio RealPresence Visual + with Microsoft Teams credentials?
We made it to sign in to Skype for Business via Polycom, but we sowed on YouTube that we can also sign in to Teams. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRUBpWlxBAw )

Also, we have a lot of problems. We are signed in to Skype for Business on Polycom on all of our locations ( four of them USA, Serbia, CZ and Germany ), and we can speak between each other, but we can’t add anybody external ( and I allowed external contacts in Skype for Business properties ).

Now we have problem, when I download the Skype for Business app on Windows/MAC, some of the accounts are not allowed to sign in.

I can sign in on Teams, but I don’t have option for calls. I can’t call anybody.

Thanks.

Best regards

Hello @Mirko,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Please ensure you always check the FAQ's and/or utilize the community search before posting any new topics or follow up post’s.

First of all you would never need to sign into Skype for Business from a Visual+. Only the Trio will require to sign into Skype for Business. The Visual+ simply pairs with the Trio.

In regards to your other comment and the youtube video Teams has not officially been supported by the Polycom Trio.

As the video states this is an evaluation and only accesible to customers who signed an NDA. I am unable to comment on any timelines.

I am unsure how signing into Skype for Business on a PC or MAC client is related to us here from Polycom so please work with our Partner Microsoft.

If you require any support please work with SCANSOURCE COMMUNICATIONS who sold this unit in 28/09/2018 as they are your Tier 1 support contact.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

HI,

First, thanks for help and all info regarding Microsoft Teams and Polycom Trio.

Second, sorry for this question regarding SfB for MAC and Windows. I accidentally paste it. I know that this is not question for this Community.

Thanks.
