Hi SvenBell,
Yes, if you had 50 users that had never logged in to Skype for Business and they were seeing this issue, each of those users would have to log in once to use the workaround I provided. In this case though, it may be worth opening a support ticket with Polycom as SteffenBaierUK suggested as they may be able to provide a software update that would resolve the issue.
