We currently use O365 2-factor (multi factor) authentication. This means when someone logs into O365 from web they will use  their password Plus a pin that is texted to them.

Some apps like Exchange and Skype for business does not work with Multi-factor so O365 gives you a long text password to use instead. So far no problems.

We are in the process of testing Polucom VVX400 phones to deploy:

Assembly: 3111-46157-002 Rev:A

Updater: 5.7.1.17460

The problem is i am unable to login to skype for buisness since it wont take my password or the long text password O365 provides after enabling multi-factor authentication.

Need help since i am unable to test phones for potential future purchase.

thanks.

All of my users have MFA enforced and we don't have any problems signing into our phones. However, it didn't always work.

Does your User Principal Name (UPN) match your email address and your Skype address? All of my users had first.last@domain.com for their email address and their employee number for their UPN. All of my problems went away when I changed their UPN to match their email addresses.

Hello Seth05,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I suggest getting a support ticket opened.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

It started to work automatically.... wierd. After many days of it not working and many many reboots, it logged onto mfa, but only if i use the built in "connect via web" through the phone.
