When I sign into a phone with a Skype account the message key does not work. In the line settings message center the contact is blank but on the side bar the correct contact is listed under SIP while everything else is listed as not applicable. I don't get why it is not working if the contact is there. If I copy that sip url into the contact field the message key works so it is not the contact url.

Is there something I could put in the phones provisioning file to make the SIP contact the highest priority or have it populate the web setting?

msg.mwi.1.callBackMode="contact"
msg.mwi.1.callBack="WHAT CAN I PUT HERE TO GET TO SIP CONTACT?)

 msg.mwi.1.callBack="sip:#UM-ContactAddress#@contoso.com;opaque=app:voicemail" <- I dont want to manually
have to do thois for each phone if the phone is seeing the correct contact info anyway.

Hello magicmike,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

First things first:

  • UC Software 5.5.0 is not LYNC or Skype for Business certified and cannot be used for Skype for Business or LYNC and is therefore unsupported.

  • If UC Software 5.5.1 or the older UC Software 5.4.4 is being used and the device is either already in Skype for Business Mode or LYNC mode you do not need to manually populate these settings.

If you have issues or the "wrong" hardware that needs to be manually set to Skype for Business profile please utilize the Skype for Business FAQ.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
