Remove Confrnc Key VVX500 UCS 5.4?

Is there a way to remove the Confrnc Key while in an active call or while a call is on hold on a VVX500?  I'm working with a client of mine and they would like tihs removed, they would prefer to just use the JOIN key and have that consultative conference capability.  They feel Confrnc and Join are redundant and confusing.  Is this possible?

Thanks

-Matt
