Sign in issue with VVX 411 using Office 365 app password
I am having login issues with a VVX 411 trying to use an Office 365 app password. I want to use an app password so we never have to worry about the password prompt coming up in the future. There will be phones that we want to always stay signed in and an app password will accomplish this task. The web sign in works and so does using the current user password. I am running the latest firmware on the phone and I disabled Office 365 from updating the firmware to avoid the phone being downgraded (that is annoying).
To my personal knowledge this is not a supported method to sign into Skype for Business using Polycom Phones at present.
We cannot comment on any future software version and you would need to work with a Polycom Sales Engineer due NDA requirements.
