We have attempted to use several different UC versions and the result is always the same, Skype for Business on Prem, favorites for users fail to appear. This is the only function that is not working for us right now and it is a desired function.

Did you manage to sort out the lack of a license for the single phone and/or potentially the whole estate that you are using?

 

If yes please ensure you have proof of this at hand when opening a ticket via your Poly reseller.

 

We can see this VVX was sold via WESTCON MIDDLE EAST LTD back in 18/12/2018 so we assume it worked at some point.


End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support.

 

They are your Tier 1 support and they can open a ticket with Poly support for you.

Yes, we have been working with them on the licencing issue but even with that resolved the issue presisted. This is on both manually licensed phones and factory lisensed phones. I will press the reseller on this issue.

The license itself has nothing to do with your issue.

 

The license is simply ensuring we, Poly, get the money for the license. The "none Skype" SKU is 15$ cheaper than the -019 version.

 

A bit like using a version of an operating system or a word processor software without the correct license in place.
