Hi Forum,

 

I have recently implemented a RealPresence Trio 8800. 

UC Software Version 5.4.3.2400

 

We are using it as a Skype4Bus user. I created a new user with E5 and PSTN license and have authenticated on the device. The install and setup was very simple and it can join Skype4Bus meetings, when invited. 

 

My current issue is how to connect to our office365 address book to invited a contact. When I go to invite a contact to a new meeting it's not finding anyone in our organization. it has contacts, and local contacts, but our list of employees is not there. Both Skype4Bus and Exchange are online and not on-prem

The latest currently supported software is 5.4.5 Rev AC so please update to this release and re-test.

Still no love. I see that it was saying 'Syncronizing contacts' i restarted the system twice. 

 

I select 'Meet Now', wait a few secs, then click the + to add participants. I type in 'Breck', or 'young', or 'byoung'. It says can not find contact.

Hello Breck,

Please open a support ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

I have a ticket open on this item. We're also running 5.4.5.

 

Based on the logs I submitted, I was told the following was seen when doing a contact lookup against O365

 

"The ABS query token was flagged as expired or invalid and it's the same error we've seen in similar Trio cases registered to SFB online. "

 

I was told that 5.5.2 would have the fix for this and its tentative release date is September 2017.

Interesting. I will look forward to this update. The work around we put is place was: Log  into Skype4Bus on a laptop using the credentials of the Polycom user we setup in Office365.  Then added several people in our organization to the contacts. These added contacts will appear on the Polycom.

The 5.5.2 update was released today. I have upgraded a few of my Trio's and no issues searching the SfB contacts list.
