Hello,

We have some Polycom Trio devices (5.4.0.12856), a Lync 2013 System which is not very busy and QoS is implemented on our network and most devices used in conferences.

Since the Trio is only displaying the active speaker we feel that it takes too long time for the video feed to change when a new speaker becomes "active". In some cases we need to talk for a very long time before the video feed changes.

Is there any setting in Lync or the Trio or anywhere to make this switch more responsive / faster?

/mk

Hello Kressmark,

As already mentioned by myself in your other post you are not using the latest software on your Trio so I can only suggest to upgrade to the currently latest released 5.4.1.17597.

I am not aware of any settings for active speaker detection on the Trio end and we would need to replicate this in our lab once you raised a case via your Polycom reseller.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
