UC Software 5.5.1.11526 RTS35 has been released

 

 

The new Major release Software incorporates Skype for Business color scheme and iconography for the VVX 5xx/6xx range.

 

This provides a consistent look to UI elements on Skype for Business PC client and other Skype for Business optimized endpoints

New Features:

 

  • Skype Phone Lock

Locks the phone and protects the sensitive information on the VVX like calendaring, call logs and contacts similar to the CX Phone range.

Functionality

 

  • Lock code prompt only after new sign-in
  • Can change the code from settings menu
  • Supports Skype for Business device lock policies
  • Supports emergency and authorized call numbers when locked
  • BToEintegration when locking and unlocking PC
  • Mutually exclusive with currently implemented OpenSIP“Phone Lock” feature
  • Can disable feature from VVX with feature.deviceLock.enable="0"

 

  •  Distribution List Expansion (DLX)

The benefits for this feature is it adds Exchange distribution lists onto the phones contact for quick access to users.

  • feature.lync.hideSignInSignOut
    Specifies whether the Sign In and Sign Out softkeys appear on the Home screen and phone menus.
    0 (default) – The Sign In and Sign Out soft keysappear in the user interface.
    1 – The Sign In and Sign Out soft keys do not appear in the user interface, and users are not able to sign in or out. Administrators can sign in and out with the Web Configuration Utility.

  • feature.lync.hideSignOut

NOTE: The VVX D60 currently supports Open SIP only and NOT Microsoft Lync.

  • VVX 301/311 business media phones
  • VVX 400/410 business media phones

  • VVX 500 business media phones
  • VVX 501 business media phones
  • VVX 600 business media phones
  • VVX 601 business media phones
  • VVX 1500 business media phones
  • SoundStructure VoIP Interface
