UC Software - Trio8800 Issue deploying

Hi Group,


I have been testing UC Software and im having some issues deploying this to the Trio 8800. I can see it in the update list and the unit starts the download and install. After a time the unit reboots and seems to revert back to the old version? After several reties i finaly got it to install and all looked good. The Video-based Screen Sharing VBSS  is really good and much better than RDP. When I came back into the office today the unit had revertede back to the old verison again?

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

I assume you are using Skype for Business online ?


You need to disable the DeviceUpdate:




The "older" Version is pushed by Microsoft


get-CsIPPhonePolicy can show the policy and youneed to change Set-CsIPPhonePolicy EnableDeviceUpdate False
