I have a VVX 500 and I have a D60 handset, I am trying to pair the two units but so far I have not been able to get them to pair.

I have confirmed that both devices are in the same vlan and both pingable and I have access to the web interface but on the VVX500 the D60 options are greyed out and will not let me click on them.

The software version is:

VVX500 - 5.4.4.2473

VVX D60 - VVX-D60_DSW-97\0

                  - P-1.5_Release

Thanks.

  • The VVX D60 feature and accessories are not supported in Microsoft Lync 2010, Lync 2013, or Skype for Business 2015 environments.

Currently the DECT Phone does not work if used in LYNC Base profile.

Hi Sparks

I'm experience similair issues with a VVX 400 version 5.4.3.1014 with the D60. I'm able to pair the device and answer incoming calls but I can not make outgoing calls on the D60. I assume there needs to be a setting to setup the default outgoing lines but it only "0 lines" and doesnt provide any settings. Is there extra setting that need to be done?

Hello Jayson,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The D60 is not supported if the phone is in LYNC base profile.

Are you using LYNC or SIP?

We are using SIP and not using lync thru the phones. We are using Interactive Intelligience 4.0 for a phone system also.

Thank you for any information that could be provided

What's the status on this now? From everything I've heard from my hardware vendor, and they have reiterated it several times, the D60 is now compatible with skype for business but only when paired with the VVX phone. But, I still experience the grayed out sympton in the admin portal of the VVX 500 when trying to set it up.

Thanks.
