I have VVX 301 and 300 phones that have the Microsoft approved firmware versions - On the 300 firmware version 5.9.0.9373. On the VVX 301 firmware version 6.2.0.4023. The environment is hybrid - On premise active directory domain controller and O365 using Teams with Phone Systems and Domestic Calling Plans activated. Users all have assigned numbers and fully fucntional. When I try to login the phones into their O365 accounts, using either Web Sign in, Via BTOE , or User Credentials, the phone goes through the motions of signing in - Discovers Skype for Business Server, gets the root certificate, then it goes to Authenticaion in Progress and just sits there. Eventually it times out after 15 minutes or so and goes back to a sign in screen. What am I missing here?

I did not read it, but now after reading it, the NTP server field has been populated and filled in. Still will not login. However, after gong through your document, I did make another change and it fixed the issue. In the data and time field under time synchronization, I told it to overide the SNTP server and the DHCP's time zone and now the phones login. Thank you!

Hello @John Talley ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

For the VVX300 the latest approved software is UC Software 5.9.5

For both issues, we would need to at least see some sort of log. Is this a day 1 issue or when and why has this started?

Jan 17, 2017 Question: How can I troubleshoot simple Skype for Business, Office365 or Teams issues?

Resolution: Have a look => here <=

If you struggle please open a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

Hello @John Talley

I assume you did not check the linked FAQ post as the first tip that is given tells you to check your NTP server.

If you are unable to follow these instructions please open a ticket as already outlined.

Best regards

Thanks this fix also worked for our Polycom VVX411 phones that yesterday all would not sign in to Teams/Office365.

Fix was to goto the web portal for the phone: Preferences > Date & Time > Set "Override DHCP's SNTP Server" to 'Yes'

Some phones needed a full reboot for the changes to work.

Thanks all
