VVX 500 - Lync login

Hi board

We have just recently decided to replace HP Lync phones with Polycom VVX series. We have bought the first VVX 500, but have problems login in to our Lync setup.

We have configured the phone to new base profile (Skype), and have upgraded to the newest release available.

Is there anything more we will have to do with our Lync installation? Trying to login with an existing  username fails, although this user already have a HP Lync phone running with her credentials.

Once this was done I then tried to setup with logins. Note I tested 2 logins. The login we need to test is dilu@ambu.com. Both accounts I tested failed to login in (Failed to fetch the user certificate). Note that I tried to login by entering the details on the handset and by using the WebSign-in which found the device but also had the same error.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

If LYNC or Skype please provide Version details and if these are on premise of off premise

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.
