Hi all,

we are facing some strange issues with SfB yet.

Most important is to get the number recognition fixed on our VVX 600 phones.

In SfB Windows App number recognition is working pretty fine.

We are using firmware 5.5.0.20556.

Do you have any idea?

Kind regards,

Lars

Hello Lars,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jun 15, 2016 Question:Can I use UC Software 5.5.0 for Lync or Skype for Business deployments?

Resolution:UC Software 5.5.0 has not been qualified by Microsoft to use in Lync or Skype for Business deployments. Polycom will not support UC Software 5.5.0 use in Lync or Skype for Business deployments.

Please downgrade to 5.4.5 Software and re-test.

Please also explain what you mean by Number recognition.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Steffen,

we are testing the downgraded version today.

Maybe this helps for number recognition explaination:

I have the number 1234. In SfB App it is displaying Ziegler, Lars as caller.

On VVX 600 we see the number only, with no name.

Regards,

Lars

Hello Lars,

No we do not support this by simply dialing.

Jul 07, 2015 Question:Does a Polycom VVX Business Media Phone in LYNC base profile support Reverse Name Lookup (RNL)?

Resolution: The Polycom VVX Business Media Phone in LYNC base, unlike the optimized for LYNC CX Phones, currently do not support this feature

We do support it within the Address Book Search aka ABS
