Each time I use the web interface to upgrade my VVX 600 to firmware 5.5.0.20556 I get the prompt that newer firmware is availalbe.  When I check the details it says "Version on Server: 5.4.1.17653" this version is obviously lower than my installed version and I don't have a server.  I only use Skype For Business Online PBX.

How can I prevent this??

Hello jakes_,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's Skype contains this post here:

Jun 15, 2016 Question:Can I use UC Software 5.5.0 for Lync or Skype for Business deployments?

Resolution:UC Software 5.5.0 has not been qualified by Microsoft to use in Lync or Skype for Business deployments. Polycom will not support UC Software 5.5.0 use in Lync or Skype for Business deployments.

The above is also mentioned in the UC Software 5.5.0 Release notes and you therefore upgraded your phone to an unsupported version.

The S4B Server itself holds the currently supported Version that Microsoft certified and therefore attempts to install this on your phone.
