Does the VVX phones  support multiple active SIP registrations when one of those registrations is SfB?

Hello Kirill,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

The above should be the bare minimum information before posting any queries.

If you are using Polycom phones with Lync Server / Skype for Business server you can register only one line when Lync is set as the base profile on the phone.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Can you provide a link to an official document which states

that the Polycom VVX phone registered on the Lync/SfB server

is not possible to use other lines to register on other SIP registration server

Hello Kirill,

I have added this to the [FAQ] Skype for Business frequently asked questions and any release not prior to UC Software 5.3.0 stated this as well.

I have asked our documentation team to add this to future versions of the release notes again.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Another simple question.
Video calls from VVX phone (UC5.4.2) to software lync client (Lync2013/Sfb2016) is not supported?

Hello Kirill,

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Dec 6, 2011 Question: What Phone Models support the LYNC 2010, LYNC 2013, Microsoft Office365 and Skype for Business Online?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above explains all possible video scenarios.

Please ensure you always check the community FAQ and/or utilize the community search before posting any new topics or follow up post’s.

I suggest you contact your Polycom reseller in order to be brought in touch with a Polycom sales engineer as only this way you can discuss, after signing an NDA, future roadmap features.

Alternatively please contact me via Community mail and provide me with your complete contact details.

How can you explain what is "Hybrid Reg - Lync/openSIP/H323"
This is only for OpenSIP and H.323 but not for SfB?

Hello Kirill,

I am not are of the document that you are quoting but as already explained if the phone is in LYNC base profile you can only register ONE line.
