VVX D-60 Settings garyed on VVX 411 fw 5.4.4

Good Day,

We have received D-60 dect devices, which we would like to pair with VVX-411 Desk Phones.

<feature.dect feature.dect.enabled="1"> been inserted in feature config file. I have exported configuration fom the VVX-411 to confirm that it has been applied. Mentioned line is there. Unfortunatelly it is still grayed in Web interface and not present in Phone UI. Is there anything else I need to modify?

While it is helpful I can upload exported configuration.

Many thanks,

Kind regards,

Hello mabrhan,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Basically the same answer as already provided => here <=

The UC Software 5.4.4 Release Notes contain on Page 5:

  • The VVX D60 feature and accessories are not supported in Microsoft Lync 2010, Lync 2013, or Skype for Business 2015 environments.

Currently the DECT Phone does not work if used in LYNC Base profile.

Re: VVX D-60 Settings garyed on VVX 411 fw 5.4.4

Dear Steffen, unfortunately we didn't know about it before we buy it. It seems that we will have a several devices in the store until it will not be supported. Is I seen that Polycom released firmware 5.5 for those devices a few days back, nothing new there?. Are you avare about any plans when it could be compatible with Lync/Skype profile? Thank you for your effort, Martin

Re: VVX D-60 Settings garyed on VVX 411 fw 5.4.4

Hello mabrhan,

UC Software 5.5.0 is classed as Beta for Skype for Business and does not include support for the D60 for Skype.

I am unable to discuss within the community when this will be added as a NDA needs to be in place. Please work with your Polycom reseller or Polycom Sales Engineer on this.

Re: VVX D-60 Settings garyed on VVX 411 fw 5.4.4

Hello Martin,

Any LYNC / Skype functionality requires the LYNC base profile:

  • Lync Base profile = No D60 support
  • SIP Base Profile = D60 support but no LYNC / Skype
