Hi,

we've configured coporate directory with ldap/ad connection. It works fine so far.

Is there a way to display names from the corporate directory for incoming calls? The base profile is Lync an the contacts from Lync/Outlook are shown correctly on incoming calls.

Thanks

Matthias

Hello Matthias,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jul 07, 2015 Question:Does a Polycom VVX Business Media Phone in LYNC base profile support Reverse Name Lookup (RNL)?

Resolution: The Polycom VVX Business Media Phone in LYNC base, unlike the optimized for LYNC CX Phones, currently do not support this feature

The same is applicable for SIP mode.

Hello Steffen,

thank you for your quick reply.

We hope this feature will be supported in a future firmware. Do you need a feature request or is this already planned?

For us this is the last point that prevents us replacing the CX phones with VVX phones.

Best Regards

Matthias
