So I've noticed that mic monitoring is off? (or really really low) so as I speak, I can't hear myself in the earpiece of the handset.  Is there a setting to tuen this on?  Or is there a setting for the gain level?

I assume that the other party can hear me fine, I'd just like to hear myself louder.  Great device otherwise.

VVX500, Webcam, etc, etc.

Hello KeithT,

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

I assume you mean Side Tone and this can be found in the community FAQ here:

May 19, 2015 Question: Can I adjust or modify the sidetone on a VVX Phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=
