This PDF document "Polycom® UC Software withSkype for Business" refers to three SfB configuration files.  They are NOT included in the UC firmware download as the doc states, they are not attached to this document either.  Please give me a lync so I can download them.

Hello romyver,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

They are usually inlcuded in the PDF file and opening this in a browser may not allow you to see them.

Most likely you found an old document and no longer need these files anyway.

Do you have a link where you found this document?

Hello romyver,

You are referencing a certain document.

I want to know from you if you have a link to this document as usually we can include files into PDF's which using Acrobat Reader you are able to store.

Downloading the UC Software 5.5.1 will include a \Config Subdirectory with template files.

UC Software 5.5.1 DEPLOYMENT GUIDE | September 2016 | 3725-49078-013A

Page 23 says:

"To deploy UC Software from a provisioning server:
1 Locate the following three Skype for Business configuration files in your UC Software download in
the folder PartnerConfig > Microsoft:
 lyncSharedExample.cfg. This file contains all of the parameters for settings that are shared by
all the phones in your deployment.
 lyncSharedLCExample.cfg. This is a per-phone file. Use this file to display the Sign In screen
and enable users to enter sign-in credentials on the phone. Because users enter their credentials
on the device, this is a secure way to provision with Skype for Business Server.
 000000000000.cfg. This is the master configuration file. In the CONFIG_FILES field, enter the
names of all the configuration files containing settings you want to apply to the phones."

Yes they are in the link you provided BUT they are 5 years old and for Lync 2010 wth ?  Why cant you guys kep the documents current?  I'll just figure this out alone.

Hello romyver,

Pretty simple, you no longer need these files and they where just templates.

Simply purchase the Phone in LYNC or Skype for Business SKU and the rest is done from LYNC or Skype for Business.
