Hello,

We are using Polycom GMS software and have been doing so for 4 years plus. On Thursday last week the software forgot the admin password that we use to get in to make changes. I've tried admin as the username and blank, admin and our own password but it won't let me in. I've restarted the server that the software runs on, and also restarted the polycom services all of which seem to come back OK.

Is there a system admin password to get into the software that will let me reset our admin password, or is the admin password stored somewhere in a format that we can access?

I've got the install CDs and can in theory do a full re-install but would prefer not to....

To get the GMS passwords do the following from a command prompt on the GMS server:

User may have forgotten their user name and password.
To access the user names and passwords, execute the following commands in a command (DOS) shell:

c:\osql -E

1> use plcmdatastore

2> go

1> select * from userentity

2> go
