When I connect my iPhone to my polycom soundstation 2w using the provided cable, the display confirms "Mobile Phone In" and I can use the system for calling from my iPhone. This cable has 2 different output options: "for IPhone" and "Other". But, when I attach a computer using the same or another PolyCom provided cable, nothing happens. The second cable I tried has 2 complementary output plugs - green (headphone) & red (microphone). I have tried both the on-board headphone & mic ports as well as a plantronics USB headset connection - c media usb mic & headphones.
As already explained in your other posts the SoundStation 2W was developed in mid-2000. It has now been discontinued and is no longer for sale.
Whilst we did our uttermost to be as compatible as possible development on new PC's may cause cables that have worked on older PC's may no longer work on current PC's.
