Hello,

please kindly inform me, that eagle view is the last line of camera which is sold with the package polycom QDX 6000 ?

What is the difference between Eagle Eye View and Eagle Eye QDX ?

Thanks

So the EagleEye View is the EPTZ 1 (Electronic Pan Tilt Zoom)camera. So you can't control the pan or tilt using the remote unless you are fully zoomed in. Second it has a manual focus over auto focus also has a privacy shutter on it. The other two things about this camera over the other MTPZ EagleEye cameras is it has built in mics and can be hung upside down. You can also get a EagleEye III MPTZ 9 (Mechanical Pan Tilt Zoom) camera to go with QDX. Though the original EagleEye QDX/ MPTZ 6 will work just fine with it.

Price difference between QDX with EE QDX and EE View is about $500. For this money you receive:

- Zoom: 12x optical vs. 4x digital

- Focus: Auto vs. manual

- Max. horizontal field of view: 72 deg. vs. 55 deg.

- Pan: +-100 deg. mechanical vs. +-45 deg. manual

- Tilt: +20-30 deg. mech. vs. +5-15 deg. man.

Hope this could help you to choose the right solution.

WBR,

Mike

Is it possible to flip and install the Eagle Eye View III camera. For one of the application we have to install the camera in upside down.

So just we are clear the Eagle Eye View and Eagle Eye III are two different cameras. The Eagle Eye View can be installed upside down. Though it picks up on it orientation from when you turn on the QDX. So you will want to have the camera installed upside down first then turn on the QDX for it to know it should be.
