Plantronics + Polycom. Now together as Poly Logo

It’s hard not to get excited about Microsoft’s new Surface Hub. It’s a new way to bring additional collaboration technologies into a room, but what’s even better is that it can integrate with existing conference room solutions.

Imagine using the content collaboration experience of Surface Hub in a meeting with a Skype for Business client on a laptop, a Polycom video solution and even a Cisco device.  Now you can.

Polycom’s RealConnect, built on the RealPresence Platform, is the only qualified interoperable solution for Skype for Business.  As such, it’s the only official vehicle for bringing together the functionality of the Surface Hub with your other video solutions.

For more information on the industry’s only qualified interoperable solution for Skype for Business, see the Polycom RealConnect website.

Do you have any information regarding compatibility between Microsoft's Surface Hub and the CX5100/5500 conferencing cameras? Is there a way to tell the Surface Hub to switch to an external camera for group meetings rather than the two built-in cameras?
