Hi there,

I am testing out using our YAMAHA RX-RX-V1079 receiver as a content input for our POLYCOM Group 500.

The idea is to have 3 input into the receiver, VGA, HDMI and an Intel NUC. The receiver sends those to the POLYCOM Group 500 and can be used as content during VC meetings.

All devices involved are up to date in regards to firmware except for the Polycom as i am chasing up a software key at the moment.

There is an issue when the receiver and polycom try and communicate with eachother. Polycom does its best to display the content but all we see is screen flickering. Whatever device is connected constantly jumps between 1 screen and multi screen displays.

Checking the manual polycom allows for 1080p res at 60mhz refresh rate but it seems the only way to get this to work is to set the device to 50Mhz which is not ideal in a large company.

Could anyone offer advice on how to resolve this issue?

thanks in advance

What software version is the codec at?

Assuming you are using the HDMI input on the codec.  What happens if you use an analog output of the Yamaha to the codec?

Are you in a PAL country or a NTSC Country?  If you are in a country where the power is 50Hz, this makes sense.
