Hi All,

Our office has the Polycom View Station which has been discontinued a number of years ago and therefore unfortunately we cannot get support through Polycom. For the last couple of days, the video conferencing gives "resetting ISDN, please wait" message with the Polycom logo and the annoying background music and nothing we did could stop repeating this over and over. Hitting the call hangup; going to another section in the menu such as DVD, TV, Computer does not stop this happening; none of the keys on the remote or the main menu (picture attached) seem to be able to stop it; there is constantly the logo, the background sound;  and the video conferencing on the background trying to reset the ISDN and then the message saying signal could not be synched (picture attached). Any ideas how to stop this (other than unplugging the projector- my current short-term solution)?

Also, there are some problems now with the powerpoint projection which is also regulated by the main menu- so do you know any outside entities than Polycom, who can still do on-site visits and provide technical support on basic issues related to the View Station?

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,

Turn system off, press and hold the button on the top, turn system back on and continue to hold the button until you see no changes on screen. It should do a basic reset of the system.

Or have you tried erfl'ing the system? This will erase everything and you will need to reconfigure all settings again.

ftp to system

login with user and pass

bin

quo swus

quo boot

quit

System will reboot, once system has rebooted, ftp again

bun

quo erfl

system will boot to a software update update screen. reload software and start fresh
